What is the best way to take care of human dreadlock extensions to prevent them from falling out?Apr 10, 2018
Today, I have a question here from a girl on Instagram. She asks, “What is the best way to care of human hair extensions attached with a crochet method to prevent them from becoming loose and falling out? How would I repair any extensions that become loose?”
There’s like many, many, many different ways on doing extensions with loose hair. I know a lot of people do their waft of hair and then they do the dreadlock extensions on them and it becomes like this really, really tiny bit that they are going to attach onto their own dreadlock. What will happen if you just have too little hair and pieces of hair that you attach the dreadlock on; the attachment between like the real hair and the extensions hair is too thin and too short so the extensions won’t really last that long and won’t stick. So, I highly recommend when you do dreadlock extensions and if you do it that way that you do the dreadlock the extensions first that you leave a lot of hair here on the top so you can attach the hair and crochet it back and forth together with the own hair. So, you have like a big, big long waft of hair that you attached it with.
