How does it work?
For the past 26 years I have worked with dreadlocks every day. Through numerous trainings, continuous education and thousands of hours of hands-on experience, I have developed my own method that gives you dreadlocks that both mature quickly and look beautiful and natural from the moment you leave my salon.

Today I offer three variations of The Seienstyle Process, which I call my holistic dreadlocks method.
The basic method of The Seienstyle Process begins by carefully attaching a soft synthetic fibre thread close to the scalp. From there, the dreadlock is built up by twisting and crocheting your own hair using my unique crochet technique, shaping each dread to the natural and elegant form you desire.
When I have finished working with your own hair, I weave the matching hair extensions into your natural hair. I then continue twisting and crocheting until your dreadlocks reach the desired length.
This is the method I most often use when creating natural dreadlocks with extensions in Amsterdam, because it gives strong, durable and long-lasting results.
This technique works for all hair types. It does not matter if you have fine Scandinavian hair, Asian hair, Latin hair or Afro hair. My holistic method is designed to work for everyone and to support the long-term health of your scalp and hair.
If you feel that you do not want a thread at the root, there is another variation. In this method, I use strands of hair extensions instead of thread and crochet everything together. This creates very strong dreadlocks that often mature faster and last even longer.
