Do you need help maintaining your dreadlocks in Stockholm?
With over 26 years of experience working with dreadlocks, I have developed two unique and holistic methods to maintain and strengthen dreadlocks without damaging the hair.
Over the years, I have had the honor of working with many different people and many types of dreadlocks â from newly created dreadlocks to dreads that need repair after issues such as congos (dreads growing together), loose hair, or weak sections.
For me, it has always been important to work with methods that help your dreadlocks stay healthy, strong, and natural, without breaking the hair or causing unnecessary pain in the scalp.
That is why I developed The Seienstyle Process, a gentle and holistic way of working with dreadlocks.
I offer professional dreadlock maintenance in Stockholm and during my travels across Europe, for both new and mature dreadlocks.
The Seienstyle Process with String
How does it work?
I always begin by carefully separating your dreadlocks so that each dread has its own section in the scalp.
Then I backcomb the regrowth, making sure the small loose hairs go into the correct dreadlock. After that, I tie a synthetic fiber string around the root of the dreadlock.
Next, I crochet loose hair into the dreadlock. If there are bubbles or weak sections in the dreadlocks, I also reinforce those areas.
Why use string?
The string helps to:
âą keep the hair separated in the correct sections
âą help the regrowth lock faster
âą create stability at the root as the hair grows
Who is the string method best for?
This method works especially well if you:
âą have a sensitive scalp
âą feel that dreadlock maintenance is usually painful
âą have very smooth or slippery hair
âą have Scandinavian or Asian hair, which can be harder to lock
The string helps make the maintenance gentler and more stable.
The Seienstyle Process without String
How does it work?
I begin by separating the dreadlocks and sectioning the hair correctly.
Then I backcomb the regrowth, making sure all the loose hairs are directed into the correct dreadlock.
Together with a few strands of real human extension hair, I crochet the loose hair and regrowth into the dreadlock.
The extension hair acts as a support structure, helping to hold the hair in place so it doesnât come loose again after the maintenance â something many people experience otherwise.
Who is this method best for?
This method is ideal for people who:
âą do not want the dreadlocks to be too separated
âą do not want too much scalp to show
âą want a softer, more natural look
How long does dreadlock maintenance take?
On average, it takes about two hours to work through a full head of dreadlocks.

Price for Dreadlock Maintenance
The price for dreadlock maintenance in Stockholm is:
1200 SEK per hour
You only pay for the actual time needed to maintain your dreadlocks.
Minimum price: 1200 SEK
Please note that price verys depending on where I offer my services, the cheapes rates you get if you come and visit me in Luberon Provence France.
How often do dreadlocks need maintenance?
This varies greatly from person to person.
Some people prefer their dreadlocks to look very neat and well-maintained, while others prefer a more natural and wild look.
Most clients come for maintenance approximately:
âą every 3 months
âą or up to once per year
How often you need maintenance also depends on how you care for your dreadlocks between treatments.
Price
My rate for dreadlock maintenance is 1200 SEK per hour. A full head of dreadlocks usually takes about 2 hours to maintain. Please note that price verys depending on where I offer the service!
