My name is Ann-Marie Christell, and I have been a professional loctician for over 26 years. The Seienstyle process uses no wax, no gel and no residue at all. Dreadlocks made this way feel like hair, because they are just hair, held together by skilled technique rather than products.

What our two days together look like

Before we meet, we have a one-on-one video call to make sure you are ready and to agree on your focus. You can choose from dreadlocks on natural hair, dreadlocks with extensions, maintenance, mermaid dreadlocks, synthetic dreadlocks and more.

Then I come to you in Houston. Over two full days, we work side by side on live hair models. I show you how to read different textures, how to build each dreadlock as a stable structure without any product, and how to hold your hook and your body so you stay comfortable through long days. Step by step, you take the lead while I guide you.

Frequently asked questions

Does product-free really hold? Yes. When the hair is given the right conditions from the first day, it locks on its own. Dreadlocks begin to mature within two to three months.

Can I learn to work on every texture in two days? You learn how to approach each texture and why, and you practise on real hair. After that, the online course, coaching calls and your own practice deepen it.

Do I need my own salon? No. Many locticians start from home with a comfortable chair and a small kit of good tools. We talk about how to set up a space that works for you.

What support do I get afterwards? Coaching calls, the Seienstyle community, and lifetime access to The Professional Loctician Online Course.
