When I was a teenager in Sweden, I fell in love with dreadlocks by watching music videos. Every time someone with dreadlocks came on screen, I could not look away. They looked beautiful, free and completely themselves.

My name is Ann-Marie Christell, and I have been a professional loctician for over 26 years. Hair is one of the most visible ways we express who we are. For many of my clients, from musicians and artists to people who simply want to feel like themselves, dreadlocks are a way of showing the world something true.
