Loctician Training in Wyoming: Hands-On Dreadlock Training With the Seienstyle Process
Aug 07, 2023By Ann-Marie Christell, Seienstyle
Two groups of locticians
Over 26 years, I have watched many locticians come and go. Those who do not last tend to share certain patterns. They did not have a method that protected their body. They did not build rest into their schedule. They confused being busy with being successful, and they did not know how to say no.
Those who do last share different patterns. They invested in good tools and furniture early. They learned a method that worked with their body. They built a slower, more deliberate rhythm into their week, and they treated their own body with the same care they gave their clients.
My name is Ann-Marie Christell, and I have been a professional loctician for over 26 years. You get to choose which group you will be in. If you live in Wyoming and dream of becoming a loctician, I want to help you choose well.
Why Wyoming
Wyoming is a land of open plains, high mountains and wild places, from Cheyenne, Casper and Laramie to Jackson and the edges of Yellowstone and the Tetons. People there tend to be independent and grounded, and many live close to nature.
With long distances between towns, there are people in Wyoming who have been dreaming of dreadlocks for years without finding a skilled loctician nearby. Someone who works well, and lasts, can become a trusted part of their community.
I come to you
The Professional Loctician In-Person Training is a two-day, one-on-one training. I travel to you, wherever you are in Wyoming, and we work side by side on live hair models.
You choose the services you most want to learn. The options include dreadlocks on natural hair, dreadlocks with extensions, maintenance, mermaid dreadlocks, synthetic dreadlocks and more. All the while, I help you build the habits of posture, tools and rhythm that will carry you for decades.
The Seienstyle process
The method is gentle on your hands and your client's scalp, uses no products and works on every hair texture. Dreadlocks begin to mature within two to three months.
We also talk about rest, boundaries and the inner side of the work, so your nervous system stays as healthy as your hands.
Support afterwards
Before our two days, we meet on a one-on-one video call. Afterwards, you continue with coaching calls, join the Seienstyle community and keep lifetime access to The Professional Loctician Online Course.
So, is in-person loctician training in Wyoming right for you?
It may be, if you want to be one of the locticians who last, with a gentle, product-free method and personal guidance from the start.
